Please note: The City of Southfield recently transitioned to a new water bill payment system that provides residents and businesses with easy access to information regarding their water bills and a quick and convenient way to pay bills online. There is no registration required and no fee to utilize the system. To logon, simply click on the link below, then “Search: Utility Billing, “By: Address.” Type in service address, click on search, click on your address, mid page you will see “Important Message” to make payment, click on UTILITY BILL PAYMENTS, this will route you to the payment bank of the west auto payment online Please make note of your account number which is on your water bill or listed below. Water Bill Online Payments
Residential water bills are issued every two months and Commercial water bills are issued every month.
Water bill payments can be mailed to the address shown on the water bill: City of Southfield, Water and Sewer Department, P. O. Box 33835, Detroit, MI, 48232-0835. When paying by mail, please include the bill stub to assure proper credit to the correct account.
Payments can be made in person at the Treasurer’s Office, located in the Municipal Building at the Civic Center complex, 26000 Evergreen Road, at Civic Center Drive. That office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. When paying in person, please bring the entire bill form for faster service.
Payment can be made through the Automatic Bill Payment Plan. By submitting the properly completed applicationto the Water Department, the billing customer’s payments are withdrawn from (the choice of) a savings water and sewer pay bill or a checking account automatically upon the due date of each bill. Applications for this payment plan are available at the Water Department and at the Treasurer’s Office; or the forms will be mailed out by request.

Payments can be made by phone using a credit card or electronic check for residential accounts and by electronic check only for commercial accounts. Call (844) 860-8194.
At the time that a residence changes ownership or tenancy, the seller or tenant should read the six digits on the face of the water meter, on the last date of responsibility. Anytime after the reading is obtained, the read is to be called in to the Water Department, along with the mailing address information.
When a business changes ownership or tenancy, an appointment can be requested for the Water Water and sewer pay bill to obtain an actual meter reading as of the final date of responsibility.
If the property is connected to city sewer, but not to the water system, the seller (or tenant) should notify the Water Department with the last date of responsibility and the mailing address for the sewer bill.

Past Due Accounts
At BCWSA we work with our customers to make bill paying manageable.
If you are having problems paying your bill you can sign up for our Direct Debit or please call us today at: 215-343-2538.
However, if you become delinquent in payment you can expect:
Accounts with past due balances greater than 45 days may be subject to municipal lien and/or service termination, depending on the outstanding balance. There will be fees for shutoffs and lien filings.
If an account water and sewer pay bill past due, and is marked for termination, the Authority offers a payment option. Water Bill Payment Authorization Notice
The City of Greensboro has no contract with any third party payment center to take payments for water utility bills. There may be businesses advertising that they take utility water and sewer pay bill payments on behalf of the City of Greensboro, but these are non-authorized payment locations. Making your payment at these locations may put you at risk of not having your payment applied to your account. Customers who make payments at a non-authorized location should note that the water utility bill is not paid until the City of Greensboro receives the money, which may take several days. Payment options and authorized location information are listed below.

Method of Water and sewer pay bill Only checks or money orders are accepted. No cash payments may be deposited in the drop box. All payments must include a payment stub to assure proper credit. Dropbox is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Payments deposited in the drop box will be posted by 5 pm on the next business day following payment. If your water service has been turned off, you will need to pay your bill in person during normal business water and sewer pay bill from 8 am to 5 pm.

AutoPay - Recurring Bank Drafts
Ensure your payments are received on time every month, eliminating late fees and service disruptions due to a late payment. Payments will automatically be drafted from your bank account each month.
Enroll in Automatic Payments via our online water and sewer pay bill - no additional processing costs to you; no check fees, credit card interest, postage costs; Savings accounts - If you plan to set up AutoPay from your savings account, check with your bank or credit union first. Some financial institutions will not honor bank drafts from savings accounts. Financial Institutions outside the U.S. - The City of Raleigh's AutoPay option for customers to make utility bill payments via recurring bank draft is intended only for payments from accounts with financial institutions located in the United States. If you are currently enrolled in AutoPay and your payments are drafted from an account with a financial institution located outside of the United States, you must cancel your Automatic Payment enrollment via our online system. It is your responsibility to ensure all information provided on the bank draft authorization form is accurate (especially the routing/transit number and the bank account number), and there are sufficient funds in the bank account. Otherwise, your utility bill cannot be paid using this method.
Savings accounts - If you plan to set up AutoPay from your savings account, check with your bank or credit union first. Some financial institutions will not honor bank drafts from savings accounts.
Financial Institutions outside the U.S. - The City of Raleigh's AutoPay option for customers to make utility bill payments via recurring bank draft is intended only for payments from accounts with financial institutions located in the United States. If you are currently enrolled in AutoPay and your payments are drafted from an account with a financial institution located outside of the United States, you must cancel your Automatic Payment enrollment via our online system.
It is your responsibility to ensure all information provided on the bank draft authorization form is accurate (especially the routing/transit number and the bank account number), and there are sufficient funds in the bank account. Otherwise, your utility bill cannot be paid using this method.

It Matters Where You Pay
The City of Raleigh's Official Utility Payment Locations are conveniently located at the town halls of Garner, Knightdale, Rolesville, Wake Forest, Wendell, Zebulon, find 24 hour food near me at the Raleigh Municipal Building Complex. A payment made at any of these official locations will be applied promptly to your utility account the same day.
If you make a payment in person at any location other than one of these official payment locations, your payment may take several days (or even weeks) to reach us. This could cost you additional late fees, or your services could be disconnected for nonpayment before we receive your payment.

Only visit an official utility payment location to make your payment in person.
About Returned Payments
When a payment is returned, it is no longer applied to the customer's account and a returned payment fee will be charged and included with the next bill.
If multiple check payments have been returned on a City of Raleigh utility account, the customer may be required to make future payments by a secured method such as credit card, certified check, money order, or cash.
If multiple automated bank draft payments have been returned on a City of Raleigh utility account, the customer may be removed from the AutoPay option and required to make future payments by a secured method such as credit card, certified check, money order, or cash.
If a returned payment is applied on an account, and that account is then delinquent, services may be interrupted immediately.
When good payment/credit history has been re-established with the City of Raleigh's Customer Care and Billing Division for 12 months, the account may be reviewed and the payment restrictions may be removed.

Payment Kiosk - Available 24/7
Pay your water/sewer/refuse bill by cash, check, credit or debit card, using the self-service payment kiosk located outside Village Hall, by the elevator. The kiosk is available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. After entering your account number, you may pay a portion or the entire account balance. Options include a printed, texted, or emailed receipt.
Payment Drop Boxes - Available 24/7
Pay your water/sewer/refuse bill by check or money order, using the payment boxes located outside the front door of Village Hall and on the north side of the parking deck, next to the library book return. Please do not deposit cash. The payment boxes are available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
Water/sewer/refuse payments are accepted in-person at the Finance Department of Village Hall.
